Project Views

Next to modelling the components of the plugin for the elementClasses of your metamodel, the plugin metamodel also allows you to model the project views more generally speaking.

In the EditorModelExtension you can define project views (ProjectViewComponent) and project facets (ProjectFacet). These two concepts can be found in two places in the µRadiant editor screen:

  • Project Facets provide the navigation options presented within the Project Navigation panel.
  • Project Views can be chosen in the View Selection panel. They dictate the primary layout of the editor's main editing area.
