Starting and accessing the application​

During the project initialization, we generated some utility scripts that will simplify the startup. For this tutorial, a script is available that will start the database and applicationApplicationThe overarching model container grouping all components, domain logic, and configurations for an enterprise solution., connect them to the same network and ensure that the webserver is available on a certain port, all using Docker behind the scenes.

Step 1: Start services​

  1. Navigate to the Build menu on the left side.
  2. Select Scripts.
  3. Execute the start_default_services script.

We expect the console output to end with the below logs, indicating a successful start of our docker service.

Step 2: Login and access​

To log in, retrieve the generated admin credentials from the local file systemSystemA set of interconnected components that work together to achieve a specific purpose or function.:

  • Credentials File Location: .../workspace/euRent/.credentials

Use the admin username and the automatically generated password found in this file (e.g., 9Om2KRRhs$X)RXjWCXi3) to log in.
